Eurovisioon lööb üha enam laineid. Tõmbasin täna endale peaaegu kõik tänavused laulud. Uskumatu maitselagedus. Tatuutüdrukud, muidugi, panevad tänavusele glämm-meroprijaatiele pärli. Nende "Ära usu, ära karda, ära palu" on muidugi paras tegelane küll. Milline sladkaja parotshka, kas pole? Türgi Televisioon, näiteks, otsustas lesbineiukeste vanadest videotest kokku lõigatud videopromo eetrisse mitte anda ja nõuavad teist versiooni, sest peavad nende suudlusi-kallistusi ja muidu olemist türgi rahvale liig' litsakaks. Pisut tausta siiski, mida ei viitsinud hakata tõlkima. Loodan, et mõistate teksti.

On May 16th, 2001, Universal Music Russia signed a band, that critics, music journalists and record companies call the most outrageous and scandalous thing to ever happen to Russian show-biz.
t.A.T.u. are Julia and Lena, 2 girls, one is 18 and the other one is 19 years old. Both of them got into this project by accident, and instantly became national heroes.
The girls were 14 when they were discovered in Moscow by Ivan Shapovalov, a child psychologist and advertising executive. He has admitted that Tatu are an "underage sex project" designed to appeal to men in search of "underage entertainment".
After several hits in Russia, the girls broke the international market storming charts with All The Things She Said. The single's video, which shows the pair kissing one another while dressed in school uniform, has led to calls for a ban amid accusations of "paedophilic pop. Despite their detractors, the group have made it big and look set to add to their line up of post punk pop with their entry to the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest.
Their debut English language album 200 Km/h In The Wrong Lane shows that there is plenty more musical ammunition from the girls who have made Russia a hot pop property.
Tatu's number one - plus two new tracks - have been knocked into shape with a little British help in the shape of producer Trevor Horn, who courted controversy with homoerotic group Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
A recent reviewer put it thus, "Ignore all the headlines - this intriguing Russian act have the ability to hit all the right notes with their music alone, and have more than just one mammoth smash to offer."
